My Dream

My Dream was dreamt a long time ago
when i was young and had nowhere to go
not aware of, things that would, soon consume the very idea
which is me
My dream was like any other dream
created at night, but lost from sight the moment i opened my eyes
There is truth in the light
So we all hide in darkness
afraid to open our eyes because even in the light most of us are at our darkest
This dream was perfect
and like any other dream i was thing ring leader of its circus
catogorized by nothing
It was my dream
there i played God
I was the creator, destroyer, begining, and the end.
My dream gave me power, compared my to no other
but there was always still my light shining darkness
I waited long
I waited hard
For the moment when i could
lay my head on white soft pillow tops, and lay until my blood rocks my brain to sleep
numbing the pain the light has caused me
reversing the strain that life has brought me
Here I can manipulate and facilitate the dream that is
I dreamt the dream of the unicorns and chocolate covered rain drops
I dreamt the dream of having a family and living like superstars
I dreamt the dream that I would one day fly, leaving all my cares and stress behind
I dreamt a dream

In this place was my fortress, a dream killing a dream
Where the light shined darkness.
